Hi, can you cascade to your Redford alumns that Martha Batey passed away 10/18 following surgery at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Her sister Jean will be arranging a memorial in the near future and will communicate the date & time, George Ford

Barbara and I are so sorry. We emailed the Sunday before your surgery. It is very hard to lose a true friend. Martha you are in our hearts forever. Hard to believe.

Matha was a true friend. Not only to my wife and me but to many. Many. Martha sent me birthday wishes a coulple days before her surgery and I responded the day before with a thank you. Next was the news from George Ford telling us that she did not recover from her procedure. What a shock. She will be missed by us. But Martha's life was one well lived. She always shined a very sunny light. An very fine example to follow. We have that to celebrate.
