I knew Roger primarily from band and orchestra where we each played trombone. He also graduated from Wayne State University. He was in what was considered the innovative Monteith College at Wayne. In thinking about Roger, I "think" I thought of him as gentle, humorous and very quiet. Can you be quiet and humorous? I guess he was quietly humorous. -- earl flowers
Roger and I were friends. He was a special person. His death was untimely. He lived in Michigan. He was married and had two children. He died of carbon monoxide poisoning while working on his car in his garage. It was winter and he had the garage door opened a little. I really miss him.

Hi Earl, I have a picture of Roger and his sisters. I wonder if there is a way to post the picture in the "In Memory" section.

Beverly and Barbara are Roger's sisters. Beverly lives in Alaska and Barbara is in the Ann Arbor area.
