Baltes, Carolyn S.
Of Wayne, Pennsylvania, under the loving care of her children, Dr Fox and Hospice, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, May 5th, 2009, at the age of 67. Carole loved and cared for many people. She was a committed mother who blessed her children and had a deep passion for life, travel, bowling and music. Many long-time friends in Michigan and in the Philadelphia region will feel her loss.
Surviving her are a son, Dr. David (Treva) Baltes and a daughter, Laura Baltes; one brother, Ralph (Becky) Ross; an aunt, Joann (Ralph) Breyfogle; three nephews Justin, Joshua and Jameson Ross; an ex-husband David Baltes; two brothers-in-law, John (Patty) Baltes and Larry (Pearl) Baltes; five sisters-in-law, Nancy (Ray) Tyler, Dr. Terri Baltes, Ruth Gelardi, Linda (Steve) Smith and BetteSue (Bob) MacIsaac.
She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Ruth (Early) Ross; her father and mother-in law, John and Theresa Baltes; her sister’s-in-law, Kathy Gelardi and Sunny (John) Baltes.
A service celebrating Carole’s life will be held at Calvary A/G, 7910 Washington Lane, Wyncote, on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. The Revs. David Baltes and R. Stanton Williams officiating. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., the family will receive friends at the church before the service as well as afterwards.
For those who wish, memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Paoli Hospital, and The Foundation of Fox Medical Oncology Center (in honor of Carolyn Baltes).
The family would like to thank and recognize the care of Dr. Steven Fox, the staff at Paoli Hospital, and Hospice, for the contribution that they made to Carole’s life.
