David was a wonderful friend. I'll never forget all the good times that David, Bert Armstrong. Brian Rublein, Sandy von Velsen, and Carole von Velsen and I had. David had a deep love for all his friends. David had a deep love for the dance and was friends with Garth Fagan a well-known choreographer and dancer. Unfortunately, Dave was hurt when he was in the Armed Forces and he could not dance anymore. I saw David when he was in the Farmington Hills area for the funeral of his mother. He had a successful career teaching English in California, and was living in California.He was apprehensive, though, about some heart surgery that he had to have.
