Family/Travels/Events:
After finishing my degree in Animal Husbandry at MSU, I continued on and got my degree in Agricultural Engineering. In 1968 and 1969 I was in the Peace Corps in Bolivia on the Altiplano working with Ag. Cooperatives teaching potato and sheep production as well as tractor driving and maintenance. It was a wonderful experience. Returning to the US I worked as a machinist and welder and owned my own shop in the 70's. For the last 24 years of my career, I worked as a manufacturing and product design engineer for Ford Tractor and Ford Automotive in Rear Axle Design. Retired now and still married to Dianne (Krentler) we enjoy traveling and sailing. I have been a mentor on a FIRST robotics team with students from the Utica Schools, enjoy motorcycling and making things and like live music. We live in Romeo, Michigan.
