We started our own Promotional Products (Advertising Specialties) business in 1973 and have had 4 different offices in Livonia over the first 30 years. In 1983 we were the first promotional products sales office of our size in the country to computerize our order processing and accounting system. In 2002 we closed the office and joined Bankers Advertising Company in Iowa, selling from our home. We have no plans to retire completely, however we do enjoy spending more time with our grandchildren now and traveling as much as possible.

Besides meeting my best friend and future husband at Redford one of my best memories is that of being in "Rebel Without a Cause" our Senior Play. That was the best time with many good memories. I hope that many of our castmates will be attending the reunion.

We have traveled throughout Europe many times. We even bought a BMW in Munich Germany and drove it down through Italy back up through France and Switzerland to Frankfort for shipping back to the US in '83. We have been to England, France, Portugal, Germany and Switzerland 2 or more times and to Holland, Brussels, Wales and Scotland. Each trip always starts or ends in England.
We have also been to Hong Kong and Beijing China in 1986 just after the country opened up to visitors.
We have also been on several Caribbean Cruses, several trips to Mexico (once we were there during an earthquake that our children slept through) and Hawaii. Some of the trips were actually for business, on some we had our girls with us and others with friends.
The most recent trip abroad was in 2004 with friends where we traded our time shares for ones near Paris and another week in London. While in France we visited the Normandy Coast just after the 60th anniversary celebration of the WWII battles. That was a awesome. We took the train from Paris to London which was a fantastic adventure.

We have lived in Redford Twp., Livonia, two different homes and now since 1986 in Farmington Hills (with a Northville address).

We own Marriott Time Shares and enjoy several weeks each year at different venues. Its fun not having to go to the same place every year, although our favorite site is Hilton Head SC.
